A relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission said that this year, Beijing's compulsory education enrollment work adheres to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability. Municipal admission documents, especially the conditions and methods of admission, maintain consistency and continuity to the greatest extent and effectively stabilize parents' expectations.

This year, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission formulated a special action plan for sunshine enrollment for compulsory education in Beijing in 2025, resolutely implemented the requirements of the Ministry of Education's sunshine enrollment and clarified key tasks. It is strictly forbidden to use test scores and various competition certificates, training competition scores, grading certificates, etc. as the basis for admission; it is strictly forbidden to select students through interviews, evaluations, and resume reception; it is strictly forbidden for schools and off-campus training institutions to recruit students in advance in the form of training classes, campus open days, summer camps, etc.; it is strictly forbidden for any school to recruit students in the name of experimental classes, special classes, international departments, international curriculum classes, etc. The city will resolutely investigate and punish violations of the "four prohibitions" requirements and illegal "picking the best students" for violations. At the same time, the discipline inspection and supervision departments participate in supervising the enrollment of compulsory education throughout the process, and carry out the strict main tone throughout.

The Beijing Municipal Education Commission reminds that in accordance with the district-oriented management system of compulsory education, district education commissions will formulate district-level documents based on the macro guidance requirements of municipal documents and in combination with the actual situation of the district. After the approval of the district government, they will be issued one after another before April 30.
