　　Since 2025, with the continued popularity of big models such as DeepSeek, the development of my country's artificial intelligence-related industries has entered a new stage. In this process, computing power is the basis for the continuous development of artificial intelligence and one of the key engines to activate new quality productivity.

　　Qingdao Artificial Intelligence Computing Center is the first artificial intelligence computing center in Shandong Province. It has built 100PFlops computing power in the first phase, with a computing speed of 1 billion times per second. The intelligent computing center has cooperated with more than 300 companies, universities and research institutions including Haier, Hisense, Ocean University, etc. to provide strong computing power support for smart oceans, safe cities, smart transportation, industrial quality inspection, intelligent manufacturing, smart electricity and other fields.

　　The reporter learned from the interview that the current mainstream artificial intelligence big models are all based on massive data and computing. During the training of the big model, hundreds of billions of parameters are often mobilized. The huge demand for computing power has accelerated the construction and layout of new computing power infrastructure.

　　Recently, after on-site inspection by the expert group, the Jinan Artificial Intelligence Computing Power Center project passed the completion acceptance. The computing power scale of this project reaches 1030PFlops, and it has the ability to provide the full link of computing power, data, algorithms and services. Since its completion in August last year, the project has been put into operation and has been stable in its operation. It has provided computing power services to leading technology enterprises, research institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises, and will provide strong support for the development of the local artificial intelligence industry in the future.

　　"As a national pilot zone for innovative application of artificial intelligence, Jinan has a solid foundation for developing the artificial intelligence industry and has obvious advantages in computing power support, data resources, industrial ecology, talent guarantee, etc.." Liang Jiameng, deputy director of the Jinan Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Office, said that Jinan has completed and put into use the National Supercomputing Jinan Center, and is upgrading and transforming data centers such as the National Health and Medical Big Data North Center. By building a diversified heterogeneous computing matrix, the integration and coordinated development of traditional supercomputing and intelligent computing has been achieved, providing strong support for the development of the artificial intelligence industry.

　　In recent years, the scale of computing power in Shandong Province has steadily grown. The scale of computing power in use in 2024 was about 11.34EFlops, an increase of 1.68EFlops from 2023. Jinan and Qingdao have built two core areas of low-delay data centers based on national-level Internet backbone direct connection points.
