On May 11, the 2025 Vocational Education Activity Week was launched all over the country. The Ministry of Education and nine other departments recently jointly issued the "Notice on Holding the 2025 Vocational Education Activities Week". This year's Vocational Education Activity Week will be from May 11 to 17, with the theme of "One skill in hand, no worries in your life."

  According to reports, one of the highlights of this year's event week is the launch of the "Theme Event Day" for the first time. "Vocational Education Development Seminar Day", "Vocational Education Integration Demonstration Day", "Industry-education Integration Demonstration Day", "Vocational Education Overseas Display Day", "Skilled Talent Style Day", "Vocational Education Volunteer Service Day" and "Local Featured Activities Day", etc., to encourage all localities and departments to make good use of the duration of the activity week, reasonably arrange different publicity themes, and ensure that there are activities every day and exciting lines during the activity week.

  The second highlight is the linkage between national activities and local activities. In terms of national activities, the Ministry of Education today hosted the first national "Vocational Education Lecture Hall" in Chongqing, inviting university presidents, academicians, industrial policy experts, craftsmen from major countries to focus on vocational education, and open up new ideas for development for vocational education from multiple angles and broad dimensions, and promote vocational education to a higher-quality development stage. At the same time, the other eight departments took the lead in organizing and carrying out the "Skills Lighting the Future" training campaign publicity, the docking of "Vocational Education Empowers Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", the National Vocational College Smart Agriculture Skills Competition, "Great Country Craftsmen Entering Campus", "Ideological and Political Course of China Workers' Congress" Entering Vocational Colleges, the Theme Group Day of "Craftsmanship Building Dreams and Jobs Launching the Future", and the Founding Conference of the National "Rain and Dew Plan" Vocational Development Alliance. In addition, the Ministry of Education has organized 43 national industry vocational education and teaching guidance committees to carefully design more than 80 national special activities in various industries. In terms of local activities, local governments have carefully created distinctive highlight activities in accordance with the "Seven Day Theme Activity Day" and designed and implemented a number of typical activities with value, recognition and influence. At the same time, we will do a solid job in the "four openings" of open enterprises, open campuses, open institutes, and open competition venues, and get close to society, close to life, close to the masses, and enter communities and rural areas. We will also guide all vocational schools to carry out activity week seriously to achieve full coverage of vocational schools.
