"The flag of the people, the blood-red flag, collects the corpses of the soldiers. The corpses are not stiff yet, and the blood has dyed the flag red..."
On August 2, 1936, the majestic song of "Red Flag Song" suddenly sounded on the execution ground in Zhuhe County, Heilongjiang Province (now Shangzhi City). Facing the invader's gun, a thin but firm-looking woman shouted "Down with Japanese imperialism" and "Long live the Communist Party of China" and was executed generously.
This woman is Zhao Yiman, from Yibin, Sichuan. She was only 31 years old when she died.
At that time, the mountains and rivers were broken and the wind and rain were shaking. In order to save the country, the lady from the landlord's family hid her identity and went to the Northeast to participate in the Anti-Japanese Allied Forces alone. During the recovery period after a battle, he was discovered by the Japanese army. He was injured again during the battle and was unconscious and captured. Under the torture, Zhao Yimanning refused to surrender and severely denounced the Japanese invasion. In the end, unfortunately was killed by the enemy.

In order to remember the history of the Anti-Japanese War, the streets of some cities were named after the heroes of the Anti-Japanese War. The names of heroes freeze the next unforgettable memories of the War of Resistance Against Japan, and always remind future generations to remember history and cherish peace.
Iron blood and lying heart shines on the soul. Zhao Yiman is a true portrayal of the millions of Chinese women at the moment of national survival.
During the fourteen years of arduous years of the War of Resistance Against Japan, facing the brutal of the invaders, the vast majority of female compatriots devoted themselves to the torrent of the War of Resistance with fearless spirit, showing infinite enthusiasm and infinite power. They either fought bravely in front or rushed to protect themselves in the back, and used their weak bodies to write magnificent poems about the War of Resistance.

In 1933, the Japanese army invaded North China and the Great Wall War of Resistance began. Representatives of the North China women's circle went deep into the front line of Xifengkou to work the army. Four ladies specially held the soldiers' swords and took a commemorative photo.
A soft shoulder can also take on heavy responsibilities, so why should a woman give in?
As early as 1939, Comrade Mao Zedong pointed out: "If China had not awakened half of the women, China would not have won the War of Resistance Against Japan. Women play a very important role in the War of Resistance Against Japan."
"My mother asked her son to fight against the East, and her wife sent her to the battlefield." During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the vast majority of women not only ran around and cheered up morale, but also donated money and materials, contributed their efforts, devoted themselves to production and construction, and devoted themselves to logistics support.

In the base areas and in the guerrilla areas, the female compatriots were mobilized. In North China, especially in the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region, most women aged 15 to 45 participated in the Self-Defense Force.
They use hoes, sticks, etc. as weapons for military training. Some are responsible for standing guard and keeping watch. Some go to the front line to carry stretchers and transport ammunition. They protect every inch of the motherland in their own unique way and become an indispensable force for women in the War of Resistance.

89 years ago, on the way to the execution ground, Zhao Yiman wrote a final note to his beloved son: "Mother does not need thousands of words to educate you, but practices to educate you. After you grow up, I hope you don't forget that your mother sacrificed for the country!"
Unyielding is the greatest character of Chinese women.
